Charter

Two ways to spend the summer.

Crewed luxury yachts and premium catamarans across the Greek islands. We match the yacht to the group and the itinerary, not the other way round, and we tell you plainly what each yacht is and is not.

How it works

From the first call to the last evening.

A charter should feel effortless. Behind it is a clear process, the same every time.

  1. 01Your brief

Dates, group size, the islands you have in mind and the style of holiday you want.

  2. 02A short list

We propose a few yachts that genuinely fit, with honest notes on each, not a catalogue.

  3. 03Contract & deposit

A standard charter agreement, usually on MYBA terms, and a deposit to secure the dates.

  4. 04Preferences

Food, drinks, activities and any special requests, shared with the captain in advance.

  5. 05On board

The captain plans each day with you and adjusts the route to the weather.

  6. 06Disembarkation

A clear statement of running costs, with any unused advance returned.

The costs, explained

No surprises at the end of the week.

Every quote separates the charter fee, the running costs and the taxes, so you know exactly what you are paying for.

Questions

Good to know.

What is included in the charter fee?

The use of the yacht, the crew and the yacht’s insurance. Running costs such as fuel, food and drinks, marina fees and other on-board expenses are paid separately, through an advance (APA) agreed in the contract. VAT and other applicable taxes are shown separately in every quote.

What is the APA?

The Advance Provisioning Allowance is an amount paid before the charter to cover running costs on board. The captain keeps receipts, gives you a full account at the end of the charter, and any unused balance is returned to you.

How far ahead should we book?

For July and August, the best yachts are often booked months in advance. May, June, September and October offer more choice, quieter anchorages and, in most areas, gentler winds.

Can we change the route once on board?

Yes. The itinerary is a plan, not a contract. The captain will adapt it to the weather and to what you enjoy, always with safety first. The final decision on whether to sail rests with the captain.

Is a gratuity expected?

A gratuity for the crew is customary at the end of a charter and entirely at your discretion. We are happy to advise.

Where do charters start?

Most charters start from Athens. Others start in the Ionian, the Dodecanese or the Sporades, depending on the yacht and the route. Your broker will suggest the best base for your itinerary.
